This weeks “Weekly Photo Challenge” was interesting. At first I saw merge and thought two images together, reflections or double exposure. When reading the brief I understood it to be more about merging another art into your work or a picture of merged art.
In Lodz where i live there is a lot of Graffiti just like a lot of cities. Lodz though has embraced graffiti and have artist coming from all over the world to paint on our sometimes, pretty ugly, sides of buildings. Some of them you can spot straight away others you have to search for. The reason is that in the city there used to be a lot of advertising painted onto side of buildings and this is continuing the tradition brightening up what the poet Tuwin called “a badly beautiful” city.
