Well, the first project of my photography class has been completed by my students. Just to be fair I thought I would share with you my inner Narcissus.

I took this picture originally as a demonstration image for my basic editing lesson. Mania did ask me to move my leg but decided against it in my final image.
The setting is the door to Maria Montessori School in Łódź where I teach. This is my first year teaching here independently from another school so it is a very exciting and happy time for me. My self portraits of previous years have been mainly a head shot so I decided to use a full body for this years outing. Against all my better photographic judgement I used a wide angle lens with a low perspective. Both of these things can make a person seem larger than they really are.
