I am not a nature photographer or an entomologist but I do have a fascination in capturing bugs.
I am not sure what this fella is called but i loved the contrast between him and the fruit. Using my polarizer filter i was able to really make the colours pop.

Nice photo – butterflies seem to like rather more unpleasant food sources for some reason. I have several images of butterflies lapping on dog poo. 🙂
Really dog poop! I always thought that butterflies liked sweet tasting food. Then again I have never eaten dog poo so I am unsure if it tastes sweet or not.
