Wilanów Palace is one of the most important historical monuments of Poland. Surviving not only the partitioning of Poland at the end of the 1700’s (when Poland was split between Russia, Prussia and the Austro-Hungarian Empire and wiped Poland off the world map for 123 years) as well as two world wars and is a reminder of how majestic the Poland was before its misfortunes of the next 200 years.
