The sun was shining bright and warm yesterday, I headed out with the sole purpose of photographing some blossom. I knew that blossom was starting to open but in walking around I have noticed that the trees which get more direct sun have flowered a lot more than trees that are sat in the shade of the city. Although there wasn’t a huge amount of blossom I did manage to get some other shots as well.
This shot I decided to back light using the sun, I bracketed my exposures to make sure I got a good exposure. In Lightroom although the best exposure was good it lacked a little contrast and colour saturation. I decided to edit in Topaz Adjust, which worked well especially with the adaptive exposure and saturation adjustments.
