Macro photography is something I have really been exploring more recently and it is teaching me a lot about controlling focus and using focus to to selectively control the focus of the shot. If I have the Dof too deep then all the little bits of pollen and dust shine bright and if it is too shallow, the essence of that I am photographing goes out of the window.
