Bee Today, Honey Tomorrow

Bee Today Honey Tomorrow

Today did not go to plan, originally we were heading out of the city to a location I have never been to before but I some life issues got in the way. If all goes according to plan I will head to this mystery location on Sunday. Instead we went to the wooded park on the outskirts of the city. There wasn’t much there except a lot of people, although I did manage to catch this little bee “mining for pollen”.

While editing I actually used a tool I hadn’t used before, the radial filter. This filter allows you to make adjustment and have them take place within the or outside the elliptical selection you create. I used this to lighten the background of the image and add a bit of punch as the image felt underexposed without it.

Edited in Lightroom, ISO100 50mm +52mm Extension Tube, f16 1/125
