I originally saw this shot as a colour image but processed it black and white because of the texture in the bark and the snail. I think the processing worked quite well. I used a gradient adjustment to diagonally darken the left corner as well as improving the midtone contrast on the bark and a contrast adjustments on the snail shell.
Where is this snail now? He has moved on as of yesterday he was still not there.
