Yesterday (6th September) being the first saturday of the month was #1day12 pics day. #1Day12pics is a monthly photo challenge where you have to take 12 pictures in one day, with each picture being taken roughly every hour but this is not enforced and posted to Twitter or Instagram. #1day12pics is organized by organized by @LovingOurPics and @my_cre8ive.
This month I didn’t have an idea for continuity in the images but I think most just had the Lomo filter applied.

I adore your grunge wall (the photo with the book shelves). Does it actually look like this or is it the filter you applied?
No it lloks like this. It is a textures paint. You paint several coats as the one before is partially dry. As you do this it disturbs particles in the paint that add the textures look. This was four coats of paint.
I see! Looks tricky, but I think I’ll inquire with painters when we’re re-painting the house, which is going to be soon. A great tip! Oh, and of course, the photos aren’t bad either 😀
You have inspired me. I thin next month I’m going to take all my pictures on my iphone and by the way, I have never actually worked out that #1day12pics is the first Saturday of the month – I have just been waiting for the prompt!
nothing wrong with using an phone to take pictures, I would recommend experimenting with all the different apps for taking and editing photos.
