Please forgive the tardiness of this post, it comes a day late due to the loving people who like to share their germs. I am usually pretty good at working out how I get a cold/flu/man-flu as I can see the perpetrator sneezing without due care or attention. I had man-flu a few weeks ago which was caught by going back to school and meeting all the new students and parents (one of them must have had a strain I had not encountered before). This time though I am not sure where it came from, it caught me by surprise on Sunday afternoon and knocked me flat yesterday morning only for me to fight back in the evening.
Let’s move on from my health related trials and tribulations as I am sure you come here for the photo not my woes.
This bird is not alive but in fact a statue in one of the city parks, I found him really interesting and thought I would take a shot. I wasn’t a fan of the colours in the shot, I made the rare decision to use a cross processing effect that I think created more pleasing colours with the soft focusing.

Thanks, I like it a lot too.
Man-flu can be brutal. Take it easy Ben. The bird is fun. We’ve been fighting real ones today. They didn’t look half as good.
I have been taking it as easy as I can, the man(-flu) won’t keep me down. I am glad this one is not real as it is quite large.
