Photoshop Sunday; Milk Splash Tulip

It has been a few weeks since I have written a Photoshop Sunday post. I have not entered the Gym of Photoshop to play around and flex my Photo manipulation muscles because I haven’t had time. I am back again this week though with an interesting, manipulating a picture using textures and layer styles.

tulip-splash

I created the image using one of my many tulip pictures which I posted earlier in the year (you can see it here).

I created the image using a collection of Milk Splash stock images. I took each stock image and placed it over the tulip and used transform to sculp the splash into place. To colorize the image I used Layer Styles; first using the inner shadow to create the illusion of light coming from the same direction and then gradient overlay to to add the colour.

A straight forward manipulation, well you should strain yourself when you first return to the gym.

Let me know in the comments below what you think of the image.
