Robyn over at captivate me has come up with a cool challenge to edit a picture 4 ways called, One Four Challenge. The idea is that you choose one picture for the month, each week edit the shot differently and share it. At the end of the month you will have four different images. You can read more about the challenge here.
The picture I am editing for November was taken on All Saints day in a cemetery at night.
The first edit was very basic with alot of noise reduction and then I played with a VSCO Kodak preset on Lightroom. I was aiming for the low key image but I wanted to have some strong contrast and saturation.
As always feel free to let me know what you think in the comment box below.
Also please check out Robyns post for the first week.

I am very curious to see what you’ll do next, because I think you picked a very challenging image. This looks really nice, apropriate atmosphere.
I think I have chosen a challenging image and I was tempted to unschedule it. Then again without challenges we won’t grow.
I like it, I’m a sucker for a low key image! You’ve certainly got the contrast and saturation a nice one!
Thanks Sue the saturation feels stronger due to the limited pallet. I am glad i could suck you in with the low key.
Ben, so happy youre joining us!
I enjoyed your All Saints post very much – been having some trouble leaving comments, so hope this works.
I like what you’ve done with this first edit. Sets the mood perfectly.
Welcome!!
Your comment came through loud and clear, thanks for beginning the challenge and look forward to what everyone does for the next week.
This looks like a great challenge, I am looking forward to seeing your other images. I think a challenge like this helps us to see things in new ways. thanks for sharing Robyn’s info and your work.
This type of challenge really pushes the creativity and the view we have when processing. I really like to previsualize images and generally know where I am going when I start editing.
Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Love the shot. Fabulous symmetry
thanks for the info about this challenge…I am joining in…
