January was my 4th month taking a picture every day. It was quite interesting as the prompts I was using (taken from Fat Mum Slim an Australian blogger) were not longer generated on a monthly basis but weekly. This meant that I had less time to think about some shots that others, keeping me on my toes.
My photo a day has a Lego theme, this means that some prompts have a left field interpretation and others are a lot more obvious.
All were photographed with a Canon G10 using a combination of on camera flash, natural light and lamps. 90% of editing took place in Lightroom, if Photoshop was used it was usually for combining exposures.
If you wish to follow the daily posts of this self imposed challenge you can on Instagram and you can see previous months here.

Love these! So fun!
Hi Josh they are super fun to take and create.
funny theme and nicely taken too
Thanks Nelson. It is quite a funny theme but also quite difficult at the same time.
I completely love these. My kids and I are Lego nuts plus I think the way you interpret the prompts is very clever. I got my kids a new camera for Christmas so I should set them this sort of project.
It is a really fun and creative your kids would love it Laura.
Ben .. Love these!
Thanks Julie I am glad you are a fan.
I love your lego series.
Thanks it is a series that keeps on giving.
I look forward to see what’s next everyday. Keep it up….for as long as you can we are always interested as what is coming next.
I am glad that you are on the look out for them each day. I will see how long the series will go for before it becomes stale.
Thanks, it is quite cool and really fun.
It’s LEGO Ben, but not as we know it. Lots of fun.
Andrew, when I read this I had to laugh. It is so much fun and goes where no Lego man has been before.
I am glad you like the series.
I am so in love with these, every month it gives me such joy to browse through your gallery. I salute your imagination and dedication.
