I have been trying to get through an edit backlog, mostly images that need to be stacked or merged. This is one of those images, a close up of a blossom flower. I took a few pictures focusing on the stamens, in Photoshop I just layered the images and used focus stacking and clean up the image before sending it back to Lightroom.
I quite like the shallow depth of field and how the stamens just jump out of the image.

It is a really great process and is great for macro but can also be used for landscapes as well.
