I was actually planning on sharing a different picture today, but I came across a technical hitch downloading pictures from my camera. The dreaded no room left on disk. Being rushed off my feet I hadn’t realised my photography drive had become filled to the brim. Leaving me no option but to move files to my overflow drive temporally.
I took this a few weeks ago while out on a stroll. Leaving the city behind and heading into the green fields near by. It was a nice surprise to see random poppies growing in the fields. I like the contrast between the green and red. The scene also reminded of a biscuit tin styled picture.
Would love to hear what you think or if you like just say hi.

Beautiful capture, Ben! I really like this one. 🙂
I like it as well it might need to go on my list to be printed.
so rarely do you see a single poppy like that in a field…. beautiful!
Thank you Jodi, it is a rare sight you are right. Although there were more closer to the path.
Lovely photo, it makes me think of Little Red Riding Hood!
Thanknyou, I didn’t see little red riding hood but it is great that the picture has made that connection with you.
Very nice. Love the contrasts
I have to agree Raewyn the contrast really does work well with this image.
