Besiekiery Castle

This castle has a bit of a vague origin with a few ideas about who built it and when. Generally it is thought the castle was built in the 15th century under the order of the Governor of Leczyca. The castle is built of brick on a rectangular plan and had drawbridge over the moat to the south. The castle changed hands several times over the years. The foundations did not survive well and after a fire in the 17th century the castle was abandoned.
