The After Before Forum is a place where photographers of all levels can show how they get the wow in their photography. It is easy and fun to take part, you can check out how here.
For us in Europe it seems that spring has finally sprung. Blossom has finally began to add colour to some trees, leaves are beginning to unfurl and days are getting warmer.
This week’s hopefully shares the sudden feeling of spring erupting.
The editing was fairly simple; I adjusted the colour balance and cropped the image to begin with, I then added some contrast and player around with colour calibration. I finally increased the exposure and sharpened the image traditionally as well as adding a little noise.

Hey Ben .. Love this. The background colour is so good .. Did you do this in Lightroom?
hi, all the editing was in lightroom. The background colour came from playing with the camera calibration settings.
Time for me to investigate .. I don’t see you much on WP anymore? 😞
all the changes make the flower pop up. nice edit.
