Coming Back From the Cold

To be honest, it is strange to be sitting here again with WordPress open. I not sure what made me open up again but it has been an itch that I have wanted to scratch for a couple of weeks.

I never intentionally planned to disappear. Although I suppose in one sense i never did. I still had a footprint in social media and I kept as active as I could on Instagram.

The drama of an abrupt departure is always a tale. Things have changed since i last posted in April ( or was it May last year). Firstly I retired from teaching. It was a long coming decision that came with an apathy I was feeling in the classroom. I no longer felt the energy from the students that I feed off. So I moved into IT support. This is obviously a big departure from teaching but in some ways no. I have quickly progressed and in about a year and a half i have been promoted to Team Manager on one of the biggest contracts the company has.
My departure from the blogosphere was due to time, and a lack of it in which to create. I am not going to make commitments, except from I will try my hardest to post on a more regular basis.

  1. Hi Ben, I like you have spent little time blogging and more time on other things (work!) over the last couple of years, I hope you find more time for creative activities and blogging about it! I will check out your instagram account!
