The leaves have been falling for a couple of weeks now but it has only been in the last couple of days that i have noticed that these leaves have turned red. These leave i picked up today on the way between teaching classes.
I like the way the two different leaves have complementing symmetry as well as the how the different shades of red create a strange contrast.

This is a superb shot. The complementary colors and overlaid forms create a great interest point. The white background is perfect for this photo.
Thanks Phill, this was the last idea in my shoot. I had photographed all the leaves separately and then decided to combine these two together as they had the most interesting red tones.
